Leveling The Playing Field

A bonus "Game-Within-A-Game" for Tour Trade I
that gives everyone, even the last place team, an opportunity to win!

Game Overview

Based on year-to-date standings through March 30, each team in Tour Trade I will be assigned to one of 25 fields.

All teams that are in 1st place in their league will be assigned to Field 1, all teams in 2nd place in their league will be assigned to Field 2, and so forth through Field 25. The number of teams in each field will be determined by the number of leagues in Tour Trade I.

Beginning with April 3-6 tournaments, and for the remainder of Tour Trade I, all teams will be ranked within their field as well as their league and overall in order to compete for prizes. Field standings will be determined by ranking the total money earnings accumulated by the golfers on the starting teams beginning with April 3-6 tournaments. Money earnings accumulated before April 3, will not be used to determine field standings.

After March 30, a team's field assignment does not change.

At the end of the game, the top 3 teams in each field earn prizes!

Prizes

Based on the field standings at the end of the tour, the following prizes will be awarded in each field:

1st Place $100
2nd Place $50
3rd Place $25

Thus $4,375 in field cash prizes will be awarded in Tour Trade I!

In the event of a tie, the cash prizes will be added together and divided evenly among the team owners that have tied.

Reports

Beginning Monday, April 9, field reports will be available weekly via the Internet. This report will list the accumulated money earnings for the top 25 teams competing in your field.

For team owners with mailed reports, your field assignment and field ranking will be included on your team report beginning Tuesday, April 8.

Field Assignments for Teams that are Tied

For teams that are tied in their league based on standings through April 1, the tied teams will be alphabetized by their team names.

The team appearing first in alphabetical order will be placed in the lower field (where Field 1 is lower than Field 2).
